About Us

The best fine dining experience in the Twin Cities

At the Downtowner, our meats and vegetables are prepared over an oak-wood burning grill, following ancient fire-roasted cooking traditions. The oak wood imbues our food with a mouth-watering subtle smoke that enhances the flavor of everything from savory boneless leg of lamb to center cut swordfish and sirloin steaks. Working in concert with the grill is our oak-wood burning oven. Burning at a 500 degree temperature, the oven cooks our homemade pizzas and flat-bread to perfection. Thanks to the visible kitchen, our guests are able to see the cooking process as their meals are fire roasted or oven baked to their satisfaction.

Great, fast service and delicious food. Prices were a little high ($15-30 for most entrees, and salads were extra), but most likely worth it if you're looking for more upscale dining.

Wonderful atmosphere and great food. Would highly recommend this place to anyone! Note they have their own parking lot so you may not need to find street parking.
